Do you ever have this weird empty feeling, but you don’t know why? Your brain starts to question every feeling and thought you’ve ever had on repeat…
Is it because I’m sick? Am I being betrayed? Is it because I’m single? What am I missing? What do I need?
…. Or, am I just hungry?
See that’s the thing about an empty feeling, you never know how to fill it, I mean if you did, the empty feeling wouldn’t be there, it would become longing. I wish I was at that stage, I wish I knew what I needed to do to fill this void.
My friends have been there filling a big chunk of it. I think the best take on life is, the main character of your favourite book is usually the most irritating person you have ever met, I’ve come to noticed this more when it’s wrote in POV. Everyone else is amazing, you fall in love with these secondary characters.
You can never describe yourself perfectly, you get it wrong at every possible turn, you are selfish in your own head. Yet, everyone else in your life is perfect and downright amazing. Don’t get me wrong I’m not talking about the villains of the story, they always suck! I’m talking about your friends, your family, the people you surround yourself with. They are the reason your life is so fulfilled. (Even when they stalk you *WINK*) They are the ones that you really want to invest your time in, as you feel them truly investing their time on you, getting to know you, helping you grow as a person.
Two planned holidays with the co-dependent friends are now booked. Bring on Scotland and Skegness.
Scotland is my favourite place in the world. My family are from there, they are still there and growing. It’s the most beautiful place to be. I will most likely go every year and will continue to go every year for the rest of my life, not only because my brother lives there, but, just look below, it’s magnificent
The views, the cities. You couldn’t ask for more.
I took half the co-group there last year and they’ve agreed to come back with me this year with the rest, so I’m guessing they enjoyed it as much as I do.
Skegness is going to be amazing, just for the general fact everyone is going to be there! It’s a well needed long weekend in May. We found an apartment for 6 people, for only £200! Which means we get a holiday for about £34 each! Plus petrol, a buffet entry fee and then just spending money (Which you don’t need a lot to have a good time), cheap, easy and fun!!
Our third holiday is Paris! Yes! We cannot wait for that one at all. We still need to book it, but we have an idea of what we need to do and especially due to the fact we will be heading to Disneyland for at least one of the days! Wooo! So, whatever happens it’s going to be fabulous!
Our next big step is moving! Some much-needed talks need to happen to ensure everyone is ready to move out, it’s a big scary step, but it’s also a massive exciting one! Mainly because this is going to lead to many more thrilling adventures! 2018 has only just begun…
Peace and love to all!
